This AHA Heartsaver First Aid course provides the information and skills to assist in a life threatening emergency. Training also covers basic first aid treatment, skills and recognition.
Intended audience: Heartsaver courses are intended for those with little to no medical training and for lay persons that wish to be prepared for an emergency. Course complies with OSHA standards and satisfies most job or regulatory requirements. Heartsaver trainings are great for teachers, coaches, police officers, corrections officers, office staff, daycare providers, employees, CNAs, babysitters, lifeguards, etc.. Recommend age is 12+.
Prerequisites: None. Students must be physically able to perform adequate chest compressions, and need to have a valid email address.
Certification: eCard valid for 2 years
Course Length: approximately 3 hours (including breaks)

Materials needed: None. Course includes AHA required Student Manual which will be issued during class.
Course fees include the AHA required Student Manuals. Although you may find less expensive classes, they often do not include the manual.
Course completion cards are issued digitally via email ONLY. A valid email address is required to claim your card. If you do not have an email address, please coordinate with a family member before class, and bring their email address with you.
Cancellation & Rescheduling-
A $35 cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel within 5 days of class date or do not arrive to class. If you are unable to attend your originally scheduled class, you may reschedule at no charge as long as class is rescheduled more than 24 hours prior to start time of original class. Reschedules less than 24 hours prior to original class start time will be charged a $35 nonrefundable transfer fee. If you are more than 5 minutes late for the course, you will be required to reschedule your course.
